ABOUT

Why HubbleField exists.

Because the private market is opaque on purpose, and the agentic age changes the price of that.

THE STORY

In April 2026, Peter Rossi and Matt Ellams had a conversation that kept circling back to the same problem: if an investor's agent searches for promising private companies today, it finds nothing useful. No structured data. No API. No way to monitor. Just PDFs and LinkedIn noise.

Every directory that exists was built for humans with time. Crunchbase, Dealroom, AngelList - they're research tools for people with hours to spare. Not one of them has a first-class MCP surface. In a world where investors are increasingly delegating research to agents, that gap is enormous.

The bet is simple. The companies that publish in agent-readable formats will win the attention war. HubbleField is the spine that makes that possible - a directory built for the agentic age, where your agent does the searching so you can do the deciding.
